Basic Directions:

From the west (NYC area)
Take the Grand Central Parkway East to Exit # 23 (Cross Island Parkway / Alley Park.) Get off at the Winchester Blvd exit ramp. At the stop sign, make a left. Make your next immediate left (you will be underneath the highway) into the park entrance and follow the road up to the parking lot.

From the east (Long Island area)
Take the Grand Central Parkway (Northern State Parkway) west to exit # 23 (Cross Island Parkway / Union Turnpike.) Follow the signs for Union Turnpike. At the traffic light, make a left (entering the highway going east.) Then follow the signs for Winchester Blvd. At the stop sign, make a left. LIE to exit 32 (Little Neck Parkway.) Make a left (south) onto Little Neck Parkway. Go approximately 1.4 miles to Union Turnpike (Mobil gas station on far right corner) and make a left (east.) Go four (4) blocks to GOVAC on right.

From the north and west:

Lake Sebago is on 7 Lakes Drive, South of Tiorati Circle. The main beach entrance (New Sebago Beach) is at the traffic circle where Lake Welch Drive joins 7 Lakes Drive. The boat ramp (Old Sebago Beach) is approximately one mile south on 7 Lakes Drive, South of Lake Welch Drive.

From the North

- Take Route 287 South to exit 55 (Wanaque-Pompton Lakes).
- Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Ringwood Avenue or Route 511 North.
- After approximately 4 miles, turn left onto Westbrook Road. This is the first left after the Skyline Family Diner on your right.
- Westbrook Road forks: bear to the left.
- After the fork, take the second left turn onto Snake Den Road.
- Snake Den Road also forks: bear to the left.
- Look for the Weis Ecology Center sign and outer parking lot about 1/3 mile from this fork.

From the George Washington Bridge:

- Cross the G.W. Bridge to Route 4 West. Continue approximately 10 miles on Route 4 West to Route 208 North.
- After Route 208 North joins with Route 287 South (approximately 13 miles), take the Skyline Drive exit (Exit 57).
- At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Skyline Drive and proceed over mountain approximately 5 miles to Ringwood.
- Turn left at the first stop sign.
- At the second stop sign, Skyline Drive ends. Turn left onto Route 511 South and continue approximately 1.7 miles to Westbrook Road.
- Turn Right onto Westbrook Road.
- Westbrook Road forks: bear to the left.
- After the fork, take the second left turn onto Snake Den Road.
- Snake Den Road also forks: bear to the left.
- Look for the Weis Ecology Center sign and outer parking lot about 1/3 mile from this fork.

Take the NYS Trhuway (Rt 87 / Rt 287) to exit 15A (Route 17 North.) A little over a mile up, exit at Route 72 (Sterling Mine Road. Following Sterling Mine Road 3.3 miles to the New Jersey border, at which time the street name changes to Sloatsburg Road. Continue following Sloatsburg Road for 1.6 miles and make a right onto Margaret King Ave (Route 698.) Folow Margaret King Ave 3.4 miles to the junction of Greenwood Lake Turnpike (Route 511) where you stay to the right (west.) Follow Greenwood Lake Turnpike 0.4 miles to the entrance of Ringwood State Park (right before the lake causeway.) Command area should be on the left side of the road by the boat ramps.

Once there: "students should enter at the front of the building (Elmwood Hall) and once in the foyer turn RIGHT, walk straight for about 10 - 15 feet and enter the elevator towards their right. Go to the 2nd floor and after exiting the elevator turn RIGHT and then RIGHT again and the class room will be directly in front of them. There are other rooms in use on this floor so it is very important that you do not wander.
